Archipelago Hotels Brings the Taste of Local Delicacies to Its Hotels in Bogor

Jakarta, April 20 2016 – Offering its guests a unique culinary experience during their stay, Archipelago International has launched a special F&B promotion at several of its hotels in Bogor to bring local signature dishes to the table.

Exhibiting the talent of six Executive Chefs from Aston Bogorfavehotel Padjajaran BogorNEO Green Savana Sentul City, and Archipelago International Corporate Office, the initiative is Archipelago's first ever cluster F&B promotion.

"We see such potential in Bogor. It is well known for its culinary hotspots scattered in almost every corner of the city and so we want to enter into this competitive market by launching this exciting promo," said Windoe, Corporate Executive Chef from Archipelago International.

Six menus have been created to combine the delightful traditional cuisines of Bogor with sophisticated western food and also unique fusion dishes. Signatures range from the savory Nasi Tutug Oncom Empal Daging by Chef Nurdin from Aston Hotel Bogor, Semur Bogor Uli Goreng by Chef Nelli from NEO Hotel Green Savana Sentul,Soto Kikil Kuah Kuning by Chef Iwan from favehotel Padjajaran Bogor, and Pastel Tutup with Indonesian, European, and Oriental Sauces by Chef Windoe from Corporate Archipelago International Indonesia. For dessert, the menu sees an Apple Crumble with Strawberry Compote and Vanilla Ice Cream by Chef Kona from Corporate Archipelago International Indonesia and a Buitenzorg Herbs Coffee by Noerdin Hidayat from favehotel Padjajaran Bogor.

All of the menu items are based on the creative interpretations of each chef and all six menus are presented to Archipelago International standards, matching quality ingredients with superior local tastes.

The F&B promo will be available in every Archipelago International Hotel in Bogor from April 2016 until June 2016. To accompany the F&B promo, each Archipelago International Hotel in Bogor will also provide a selection of local food during breakfast.

In the near future, Archipelago International will expand this promo to Bandung, Purwakarta, and other areas across Indonesia. Each area will feature different signature dishes based on the chefs' expertise to satisfy all of Archipelago International's hotels guests, both local and international.
