ARCHIPELAGO INTERNATIONAL EARNS NINE ACCOLADES AT TWO PRESTIGIOUS AWARD CEREMONIES

Indonesia, May 2019Archipelago International, Indonesia’s fastest growing hotel management company, as well as its most popular brands and leading hotels, recently received a collection of prestigious accolades at two awards ceremonies, securing the group’s position as a hospitality leader in Indonesia.

The award ceremonies included “The Most Popular & The Best MICE Industry 2018” awards hosted by VENUE Magazine - a prominent business magazine that presents up-to-date content and reviews within the MICE industry – and the “Hotel Exclusive Awards 2019” held by Pegipegi, a leading online travel agency in Indonesia.

Reaffirming its dedication and contribution to Indonesia’s MICE industry, Archipelago International was recognized by Venue Magazine as The Best Hotel Management chain and The Most Popular Hotel Management chain in Indonesia, while its brand, favehotel, was awarded The Most Popular Budget Hotel in Indonesia. In addition, The Alana Hotel & Convention Center Yogyakarta, an Archipelago International hotel in Central Java, also received an award as The Most Popular MICE Hotel.

At the Pegipegi Hotel Exclusive Awards, the awarded hotels included favehotel Kuta Square, Hotel NEO Malioboro - Yogyakarta and HARPER MT Haryono – Jakarta, all of which were crowned together in the Best in Service category, while ASTON Pasteur Hotel won the Best Leisure Hotel and Archipelago International was the proud winner of the Best Local Hotel Chain.

This marks the third win for favehotel in the VENUE Magazine awards, following its feats in 2014 and 2015, further positioning the brand as a key player within Indonesia’s competitive MICE industry.
