Jakarta, October 22th, 2012 – Aston International continued its rapid expansion throughout Indonesia's most populous island Java with the groundbreaking of the Aston Bojonegoro City Hotel.

The new Aston City hotel will be an international standard 3 stars plus hotel developed by PT. Andalan Mandiri Raya and was conceptualized by Aston International in response to Indonesia's rapid economic development and raising domestic demand for modern quality hotels with functional meeting rooms. The mid seized hotel will feature 134 rooms and suites, a pillar-less grand ballroom for up to 600 persons and auxiliary meeting rooms, several food and beverage outlets including a all day dining café and Bojonegoros's first and only upscale hotel bar & lounge and recreational facilities such as an outdoor swimming pool, a well equipped gym and a day spa.

Bojonegoro is located in the inland part of the North Java plain about 110 km west of Surabaya on the banks of the Bengawan Solo River, the largest river in Java. Bojonegoro recently attracted major attention due Indonesia's largest oil filed discovery since three decades.

Aston International's Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Mr. Norbert Vas, said: "Besides being well represented in Indonesia's key markets of Bali and Jakarta we aim to provide a comprehensive, consistent and reliable network of international quality hotels throughout Indonesia's many lesser known secondary and tertiary cities. Growing into East Java is an important part of this strategy and Bojonegoro will soon be followed by projects in Jember, Madiun, Malang and Surabaya."

Aston just recently opened select service favehotels in Bali's fashionable resort villages of Umalas and Seminyak and has announced plans for further favehotels on Kuta Square and in Legian and Petitienget. The company also operates several 5 and 4 star Aston Hotels and an eclectic group of high end boutique villa resorts under its Kamuela Villas label as well as two 3 star Quest hotels in Kuta and in Tuban.
