(November 27th 2013) – Celebrating the beginning of construction for two future favehotel properties, Archipelago International held two groundbreaking ceremonies to commemorate the start of these exciting new projects.

October 2013 saw the groundbreaking ceremonial event for favehotel Anyer, marking the beginning of this new 101-room, four-story hotel. In attendance were members of the community, along with Chairman of Archipelago International, Charles Brookfield and the President & CEO of Archipelago International, John Flood. The hotel is located in the heart of Anyer on the western tip of Java Island and only 90 minutes drive from Indonesia's capital city, offering the perfect mix of convenience and exotic scenery.

The next two following months after the groundbreaking of favehotel Anyer, Archipelago International then held another groundbreaking ceremony, this time for the anticipated 100-room favehotel Rembang. Members of the community joined the celebratory ceremony, along with Archipelago's Vice President of Finance, Heru Purwono, the Head Contractor and Local Government Officials.

favehotel Rembang is located in the Rembang Regency on the northeastern part of the Central Java Province. Rembang currently attracts only a few tourists to its enchanting land, despite being connected to many popular Indonesian cities such as Solo and Semarang.
